Thirty of thirty

Every action from the August review is closed - deployed, verified against live traffic, and logged in public. What we changed about HOW we build mattered more than any single fix.

Three weeks ago we published an unflinching review of our own codebase, with thirty tracked actions. As of this week, all thirty are closed: twenty-seven deployed and verified against live traffic, three superseded with the reasoning recorded in the open register.

The fixes themselves were satisfying - a unified ledger where every spend leaves a signed entry, one connection pool sized for the database that actually exists, background failures that surface on a dashboard instead of vanishing. But the durable change is procedural: there is now a test suite that must stay green, a register where work is logged with evidence the day it happens, and a standing rule that anything invisible is treated as broken.

The review area of this site holds the whole story - the commissioning prompt, the redacted findings, and every action’s history. That’s what we mean by building in public.
